South Valley University in cooperation with UNIDO, holds A Symposium on the Support Program for Startup and Medium Companies.

Under the Patronage of Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr Ahmed Kamal Nassar, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), South Valley University organized an introductory symposium on the Support Program to start-ups and medium companies.

Dr Ahmed Kamal Nassary conveyed the greetings of Prof. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University to the guests of the university, and emphasized the university is interested in entrepreneurship and welcomes every idea that supports society

 The activities of the introductory symposium included a brief presentation on the inclusive green growth project presented by Dr Adel Sabry from UNIDO, a presentation on the support program of start-ups and medium companies, green business opportunities in value chains targeted by the project, presented by Dr Ahmed Hazin from Chemonics Egypt, as well as a presentation has made on the financing programs provided by The Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Development authority presented by Mahmoud Al-Amary, Branch Manager of the Authority in Qena, The symposium has witnessed by Dr Essam Abdel Hady, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Deputies, and the Teaching Staff in the various faculties of the university
