South Valley University advanced 52 world places by the Spanish Scimago ranking from last year.

Prof. Dr. Youssef Garbawy, President of South Valley University, announced that the University advanced 52 global places in 2022 compared to last year according to the Scimago International Spanish ranking: this classification is based on the SCOPS research database using the Foundation’s research performance standards, the community impact, and the innovation, which advanced 85 places From Last Year and Improvement in Community Role.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies & Research, pointed out that the University achieved globally ranked 708 in the general index, ranked No. 245 in the societal impact index, ranked 432 in research, and ranked 414 in innovation, Moreover, the University ranked eighth in the energy sector, tenth in computer science, and thirteenth in environmental sciences locally.

The President of the University urged all researchers to exert more effort in innovative research and societal impact. He also thanked the International Classification Committee of the University for showing the University’s Efforts, which strengthened its position at the local and international levels.
