Honour Ceremony for students of robot & international programming competitions in the presence of Major General El-Dawdy and Prof. Dr. Gharabawy.

Major General Ashraf Al-Dawdy, Governor of Qena, and Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, attended the ceremony to honor students participating in robot and international programming competitions at Sheikh Zayed University in the UAE last November, in the presence of Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice-President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Hassan Osman, Undersecretary of the Social Solidarity Ministry, Manal Abdulwahab, Undersecretary of Education Foundation in Qena, Eng. Abdul Raheem Zuqeim, Vice-President of the New Qena City Authority, Eng. Randa Mohamed Al-Barkawy, Director of the Techno STEAM Center, and many educational leaders and principals of the participating schools

Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy explained that the fair was organized at the university that included models of students’ inventions in all fields, stressing the University’s care and encouragement of innovation and innovators, through the establishment of an innovation center that adopts all talented students and supports different talents

The Director of Techno STEAM Center praised the continuous support from the Governor of Qena to students and pointed out that the Techno Center will host the activities of the global robot competition in the middle of the year for the first time in Qena Governorate under the auspices of the Governor, and the procedures of the programming competition announcing will be completed under the auspices of South Valley University.

The ceremony began with the presentation of a documentary film of the most prominent activities of students inside the center, then the Governor of Qena honored four students from Dar Al-Rahma Foundation and Ahmed Gabr Foundation for Boys Education, in addition to 21 qualified students in the global qualifiers for robotics and programming.
