Intensive preparations for the new academic year at South Valley University

Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, announced that the university has completed its preparations for the new academic year 2023/2024, as:

  • All needs of lecture halls and laboratories were provided.
  • Preparing the roads within the campus to provide safety and traffic fluidity.
  • Completing the maintenance of university buildings to receive new and old students.

The university president stressed that the university attaches great importance to student activities, stressing the need to implement student activities plans in various faculties and representing all faculties in various competitions and activities organized by the University throughout the year. Pointing to the diversity of student activities and summit meetings, and the interest in activities that contribute to developing awareness and belonging, building students’ capabilities and developing their experiences through entrepreneurship courses and other purposeful activities.

Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, added that all means of support are provided to incapable students through the Social Solidarity Fund within the framework of the university’s role in providing higher education opportunities. Emphasizing that the Solidarity Fund’s services include paying tuition fees, textbooks, providing financial aid, and paying university city expenses, and that the university is working to enhance opportunities for joint cooperation with various parties to develop resources directed to support unable students.
