Launch Of the 10th Training of Trainers Course

Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Saeed, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, opened the 10th Training of Trainers Course (TOT) presented by Career Development Center.

The university president praised the role played by the center, stressing that it is not limited to qualifying students and graduates, but it extends to developing the skills of those working inside and outside the university. Pointing out that this type of specialized training aims to transfer skills and acquire positive behaviors.

Dr. Mohammed Saeed welcomed the participants and stressed the role of the Center in serving the community, as it is considered an essential channel for the university’s communication with the external community. 

Dr. Mohammed Imran, Director of the Center, pointed out the diversity of participants in the course both inside and outside the university. He also noted that the program lasts 9 days by 50 hours and includes basic skills that qualify the trainer for effective training such as effective communication skills, effective presentation, training needs assessment, training session management, as well as identification of trainees’ styles and trainers and the qualities of the successful trainer.
