An awareness initiative entitled “Women United Against Corruption”

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, and Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, an awareness symposium entitled “Women United Against Corruption” was held at the Faculty of Media, presented by Professor Karima Kamal, Vice President of the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology for Graduate Studies and Research.

The symposium addressed the concept of corruption, its types, the economic, legal, social and political impacts of corruption and the means of countering corruption through the national legislative framework against corruption and the role of national oversight bodies in combating administrative corruption, with a presentation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2023-2030.
