Within the framework of the visit of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications& Information Technology, and Major General Ashraf Al-Daoudi, Qena Governor, to Egypt’s Digital Innovation Hub ”CREATIVA” at South Valley University, Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, signed a cooperation protocol between the National Telecommunication Institute and South Valley University on the preparation of qualified persons and establishment of six accredited training academies in cooperation with the international companies, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at South Valley National University, Mr. Adel Ahmed Mustafa, Secretary General of the University, and others.
The signed cooperation between the two sides aimed to establish six accredited training academies to prepare qualified persons in cooperation with the international specialized companies (Cisco, Huawei, Amazon, VMware, Fortinet, Red Hat), where the Institute is considered an accredited regional academy for these companies. The President of the University expressed his aspiration for more future cooperation and the readiness of the University to provide the required logistics and overcome all obstacles to open new fields of cooperation.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Amr Talaat, Major General Al-Daoudi, and Dr. Youssef Gharbawy inspected the training laboratories in Egypt’s Digital Innovation Hub ”CREATIVA”at the University.
