Prof. Dr. Youssuf Gharbawy, President of the University, met Meshwary program’s delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He praised the great effort of President El-Sisi in developing Upper Egypt and caring for the human element, especially the youth. On this regard, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been collaborating with UNICEF in carrying out the ‘Meshwary’ program that entails training youngsters and youths – including the differently abled – on life and work skills as well as offering career advice at provincial youth centers in a bid to achieve sustainable community development and integration. It is worth noting that ,the delegation praised the university efforts in supporting the initiative with its various activities, which included training programs for university students in the faculties of Education, Archeology, Arts, Law, and Commerce as a first phase.
