The president of South Valley University attends the activities of the second day of the cultural week

Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, President of the University of South Valley, witnessed the activities of the second day, the first cultural week organized by South Valley University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasari, Vice President of the University for the affairs of the compound’s service and development of the environment, a group of faculty deans, agents, faculty members, and a large crowd of students.

 

The university president emphasized the importance of these activities in educating students, correcting concepts, pride in civilized history and knowing the role of the state and its efforts, stressing the importance of belonging to the homeland as the activities of the Cultural Week at South Valley University cover a large number of areas. Distinctive, which contributes to the development process in the southern Upper Egypt region.

 

Dr. Mohamed Sayed Ismail, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, gave a lecture entitled “Egypt, the Genius of Time and Space,” explaining Egypt in the divine books, Egypt among the Messengers and Prophets, the civilizational influence of Egypt and the art of efficiency and management. He presented a presentation of the book “Egyptian Personality” by the late thinker and historian Dr. Gamal Hamdan.

 

In the second lecture of the Cultural Week, Dr. Abdo Al-Derby, Professor at the Faculty of Archeology, presented a lecture entitled “The values ​​of Egypt, in the past and present,” in which he talked about the subjective and acquired values ​​of Egypt and explained the temporal, historical, civilizational and religious values ​​of Egypt, the Egyptian military value, the originality of the Egyptian personality, the value of the geographical location of Egypt and its values ​​of belonging and citizenship to Al-Masry and its association with his land since ancient times and the archaeological and heritage value of Egypt.

The activities of the second day of the cultural week also witnessed a screening of a film prepared by the university channel that deals with the achievements of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in various sectors such as health, education, agricultural and industrial sectors, the oil sector, population, tourism and others

At the end of the symposium, an open dialogue took place between the students and the lecturers of the second day of the activities of the second day .
