Prof. Dr. Youssef Grabawy, president of the university announced that the university was able to advance in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities 2021, whereas the university took 19th place among the Egyptian universities.

Dr. Grabawy declared that the indicator depends on the web publishing concepts, based on the idea of web impact factor which seeks to balance between the activity and impact of the research effort of the university. pointing that “Webometrics” is considered one of the biggest indicators, as it contains 31.000 universities and educational institutions that are being evaluated every 6 months by the Cyber Metrics Lab of the Spanish National Research Council.

The current ranking of the university bears witness to continuous development.
