South Valley Ranks Second in Implementing Literacy Programs on The Egyptian Universities Level.

Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of the university, stated that the university came in second place on the level of Egyptian universities in implementing literacy programs, after Minia University, which ranked first, according to the report issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the efforts of Egyptian universities to eradicate illiteracy.

The university succeeded in erasing illiteracy for 29,439 citizens within the university, as part of the follow-up to the implementation of the state’s plan to declare “Egypt without illiteracy” to achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt vision 2030
