Announcement of his annual award entitled “The State Award for the Young Innovator”

Within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the Supreme Council for Culture and Egyptian universities to spread cultural awareness, develop and discover creative capabilities, the Supreme Council for Culture announced an annual award entitled “The State Prize for the Young Innovator” under the patronage of the honorable lady, wife of His Excellency the President of the Republic, for young people under the age of 18 years. A new achievement for the Egyptian state that embodies the nation’s commitment to caring for and encouraging young people and is in line with the constitutional texts that grant the right to culture to every citizen. It also guarantees freedom of creativity to promote arts and literature, protect cultural and artistic production, and provide the necessary means to encourage that.

His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has approved the issuance of Law No. 204 of 2020 to introduce this award, “The State Prize for the Young Creator,” as this award is given annually to those who present an innovative intellectual or material product and who is less than 18 years old in the fields of culture and arts.

  • The first age group is from 5 to 12 years old.
  • The second age group is from 12 to 18 years old.

One prize is allocated to the winner in each branch, with a value of 40,000 Egyptian pounds, in the following fields:
