South Valley University organizes a Symposium entitled “Managing Psychological Stress of Working Women”

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr Youssef Ghorbawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr Ahmed Kamal Nasarry, Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit organized a symposium entitled “Managing Psychological Stress of Working Women” in the presence of the females of the University Staff from various faculties and administrations.

Dr Hala Kheir Senary, Professor of Psychological Health and Director of the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit, addressed the motives of women’s departure for work and the effect of women’s work and gave examples of the pressures faced by working women illustrating the different types of stress and characteristics of psychological stress, the stages of psychological stress, the sources of stress for working women, and the explanation of the health, psychological, social and behavioural effects of women workers’ exposure to stress, with training female staff in some of their stress management strategies, General guidance for stress reduction, as well as stress exposure in working women resulting from the spread of the new coronavirus and how to eliminate it.

The symposium has prepared by Ms Roqaia Aladdin, the Unit’s Management Coordinator, and Ms Iman Faris, Director of the University’s Training Management.
