The President of South Valley University chairs the University’s Education and Student Affairs Council

Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, President of South Valley University chaired the session of the Council for Education and Student Affairs, where the president of the university reviewed the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities in accordance with the controls and precautionary measures to confront the emerging Corona virus pandemic, as well as the emphasis on the continuity of study and commitment to hybrid education by raising lectures on electronic platforms and taking exams The middle of the semester in some colleges with the tightening of the precautionary measures and the emphasis on the implementation of the time map for the first semester, which indicates the start of the first semester exams, starting from Saturday, January 23, 2021, until Thursday, February 4, 2021.

During the meeting, Dr. Youssef Gharbawi started the activities of the cultural week, which will start on Saturday 28 November for a period of five days, with the participation of university students, faculty members and faculty deans, and he urged students to participate in the activities that are held inside the university in light of the preventive measures that the university follows.

The Council approved the time plan for the academic year 2021/2020 in accordance with the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities.

The Council also approved, in its session, the proposed internal regulations for the English Language and Translation program (a distinguished program with expenses) in the credit hour system at the College of Arts.

During its session held today, the Council also approved the proposed internal regulations for the College of Early Childhood Education, with the credit hour system.

The Council also approved the proposal submitted by the College of Specific Education regarding the distribution of field training bikes and the proposed internal regulations of the College of Nursing (Bachelor’s stage with the credit hour system).
