Project Extent

Definition:

It’s a student’s project to develop their technological knowledge and wariness, to inform them with the technological information articles, to aware them about the different electronic services and to present the information technology development centers and projects at the university.

Current situation:

There is a knowledgeable weakness about the information technology among the students, also the activities and the different technological projects, plus their participation rates in the technological activities is not suitable for the size of what the university spends on these activities which act of the student’s E-maul activation rates and their taking part in the electronic services also the paucity of students who had ICDEL in spite of saving tests centers excellently.

Work style:

Work inside the project depends on the student’s participation in holding courses, workshops, marketing articles and publishing to the information technology culture inside the university.
The extent of the affection of these activities and procedures on the student’s coming to participate in different practices and programs is evaluated.

Expected affection and results:

• Change the dialogue’s language among the student at the university through the discussion of their cases, to show how ways to think, problem-solving, publish ideas and research which depend on different in formation technological articles like Internet and computer’s programs.
• Increasing the rates of use e-mail, group mailing and dialogues areas online and seeking to use electronic services and leave the traditional services.
• Increasing the number of students who had ICDEL.
• Developing a website express the university life, with activities and different services, and also the living rules insides the University Accommodations.
