South Valley University participates in a Celebration and Symposium of Multidisciplinary Research Excellence.

Prof. Dr Youssef Gharabawy, President of South Valley University, sent Prof.Dr Ahmed Akawy Vice- President of the University for Graduate and Research Affairs, to attendance at a Celebration and Symposium of Multidisciplinary Research Excellence held in Cairo based on cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, E Knowledge Foundation, Executive Sciences and Integration, and National Australian University. The Symposium has organized under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education, Prof. Dr Khaled Abd El-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Universities Affairs.

The Research Excellence Programme aims to prepare academic cadres capable of collaborating and linking different sciences to serve national objectives, including 3 from the University of the South Valley, Dr Nezar Halawa (Faculty of Medicine), Dr Sameh Mustafa (Faculty of Computers and Information) and Dr El Amir Hussein (Faculty of Sciences). and eventually a closed discussion was held under the chairmanship of Dr Mohamed Ayman Ashour in the presence of vice presidents of universities and international experts, where the discussion focused on the future role of universities in encouraging interdisciplinary and linking this to the general strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to reflect and invest scientific research in the service of National issues, South Valley University participated in the discussions.
