Cooperation Protocol between the National Telecommunication Institute and South Valley University.

Within the framework of the visit of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications& Information Technology, and Major General Ashraf El-Daoudy, Qena Governor, to Digital Egypt Innovation Hub” Creativa” at South Valley University, Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, signed a Cooperation Protocol between the National Telecommunication Institute and South Valley University on the preparation of cadres and establishment of six accredited training academies in cooperation with international companies, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badawy Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Imad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers & Information at South Valley National University, Adel Ahmed Mustafa, Secretary General of the University, and many faculty members and administrative staff at the University.

The Signed MoU between the National Telecommunications Institute affiliated with the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology and South Valley University stipulates the cooperation between the two sides to establish six accredited training academies to prepare cadres in cooperation with international specialized companies (Cisco, Huawei, Amazon, VMware, Fortinet, Red Hat), where the Institute is considered an accredited regional academy for these companies; The MoU has signed by Dr. Iman Ashour, President of the National Telecommunications Institute, and Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University.

The President of the University expressed his aspiration for more future cooperation and the readiness of the University to provide the required logistics and overcome all obstacles to open new horizons for cooperation.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Amr Talaat, Major General Ashraf Daoudy, and Dr. Youssef Gharbawy inspected the training laboratories in the Digital Egypt Innovation Hub ‘Creativa’ at the University.
