Prof. Dr. Yousef Grabawy, president of the university announced the win of student. Mohamed Mahmoud El-Foley, faculty of medicine, as president of the student union for the academic year 2020/2021, and student Mohamed Hussein Wazzery, faculty of law, as vice president.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, vice president for postgraduate and researches affairs congratulated the winners of different Commissions and affirmed the importance of ensuring the educational attainment in parallel with student activities, Dr. Akkawy pointed to the importance of the role of student union in providing all forms of support to all students, Dr. Akkawy praised the support of the university president and his continuous follow-up to the electorial processess, Dr. Akkawy stressed the importance of working as a team in the student union.
The elections were held under the supervision of the high electorial Committee at the university, headed by prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, Dr. Karem Mohamed, vice dean for student and educational affairs of faculty of agriculture, Dr. Abas Mustafa, lecturer at faculty of law and Mr. Mohamed Walid Ahmed, general manager of the general Administration for student welfare .
