Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, met the committee of enhancing South Valley University`s Status between the international rankings of universities, in the presence of Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research.
The president of the university praised the efforts that contribute to improving the international classification of the university, which had the most impact to enable University to obtain distinguished positions during the last period, He stressed that the university interest in scientific research and providing all means of support to researchers and strategies plans, the necessity of coordination among the university society, updating databases, preparing periodic reports, scientific publishing and various international classification requirements.
Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy stressed the necessity of evaluating the scientific research in various faculties as well as achieving integration and cooperation between them, attention to data scrutiny, feeding the digital content of the website, and periodic follow-up of evidence and regulations for scientific research.
The University’s Web metrics index has improved by 9.22% during the period from January to July 2021.
