Prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, opened the activities of the 1st entrepreneurship week that organized by the Entrepreneurship Club at the university during the period from 14 to 20 December, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, Vice President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Dr. Ghrabawy affirmed that entrepreneurship is one of the state’s directions to achieve development, and the university always seeks through its various centers to provide the necessary training and qualification for its students.
Dr. Farag Khoudary, Director of the University’s Technology Transfer and Marketing Office, confirmed that the University’s Entrepreneurship Club is the fourth component of the Technology Transfer and Marketing Office at South Valley University in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research, referring to the role of entrepreneurship in achieving sustainable development, developing skills and presenting entrepreneurial ideas.
The opening activities included a presentation on the role of Ministry of Social Solidarity, social protection programs, and development through the provision of training, financing and marketing, an introductory presentation on the organization’s activities, financing opportunities, and establishing projects, as well as presenting one of the successful examples of entrepreneurs from South Valley University graduates.
