• SVU has one from three main sectors in higher administration which is Society service and environment development sector.
• SVU participate with many programs in collaboration with the government and no-governmental organizations in attempt to engage a large audience and to bring knowledge and expertise to society on the importance of implementing all the SDGs.
• SVU has a wide plan every year for  outreach activities can take several  forms,  such  as  school presentations,  workshops,  public  talks  and  lab  visits,  etc.  The objective  of  outreach  is  to  explain the  benefits  of  implementing the Sustainable Development Goals  to  a  larger  public. Outreach implies an interaction between the sender and the  receiver  of  the  message,  there  is  an  engagement  and  a  two-way  communication between the university and the public.

The sector is mainly depending on the academic staff and the research associate through outreach  activities  such  as  school visit, presentations,  workshops,  public  talks  and  lab  visits,  university hospitals that provide clinical service to the public and training to the clinical, etc.

The objective  of  outreach  is  to  explain the  benefits  of  implementing the SDGs  to  a  larger  public. Outreach implies an interaction between society and university as center of experience.

Examples of Education for SDGs in the Wider Community through SVU :

A cooperation protocol between the university and the Rowad 2030 project.

The Rowad 2030 project aims primarily to stimulate the spirit of innovation and spread the culture of self-employment and entrepreneurship among all society, especially the youth who represent the mainstay for achieving the hopes and aspirations of the state, noting that the project identifies activities that help establish an integrated system of innovation, through a number of events, including organizing workshops and training courses to qualify students and youth in various fields of work.
