Vision

The Department of Electrical Engineering shall be distinguished locally, and regionally, pioneered in university education, scientific research, and community service, and shall provide high-quality engineering programs and services in all fields of the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Mission
The Department of Electrical Engineering seeks to graduate scientifically distinguished electrical engineers who can work, creativity, high efficiency, are leaders in their profession, and can continue lifelong learning at the level of local, regional, and global competition, as well as contribute to providing services to the community in the field of electrical engineering.

Goals 

1- Qualifying and preparing professional engineers cadres in all fields of the electrical engineering department (electrical power systems, electrical machines, power electronics, communications, electronics, automatic control, high voltage, prevention systems, power generation, and its uses).

2- Spreading and developing engineering knowledge in the electrical engineering field in various divisions to engineers.
3- Conducting and publishing scientific research in the field of electrical engineering.

4- Holding scientific conferences and seminars to keep pace with scientific development in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

5- Providing scientific, engineering, and applied services and consultations to all public and private sectors.

6- Facilitating advanced research opportunities for graduate students, faculty members, and the assisting body in the electrical engineering fields.

7- Joining with all sectors of society, providing expertise and consultations, solving problems in all engineering fields, and working to develop and raise its efficiency.

8- Participate in building a society of science and knowledge nationally and globally.
