Participation of the Faculty of Physical Education at South Valley University in the Bike Marathon as part of the activities of the Climate Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh

Within the framework of the participation of South Valley University in the activities of the Climate Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, headed by Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, Khaled Gamal Abdel Nasser, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Physical Education, participated in the Bike Marathon held within the activities of the Climate Summit, where His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, was at the forefront of the marathon.

Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy confirmed that the University has made various participations in the Climate Summit events, where the university delegation participated in the Universities Exhibition in the Green Zone, the university’s pavilion presented a number of innovative models in the field of facing climate changes, and volunteers from university students also participated in the support committees at the summit.

Dr. Ashraf Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, added that Khaled Gamal Abdel Nasser, a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty, was nominated to participate in the marathon activities through the Egyptian Athletics Federation. He also thanked the President of the University for his support of the various activities of the University and his keenness to the active participation of the University in various local, regional, and international events.
