Faculty of Education is located in Hurghada ,Red Sea where a high percentage of the governorate population who are over the age of education are illiterates, the females represent the largest percentage of illiterates,the survey revealed a large percentage of illiteracy is in various towns and cities of the governorate, so the faculty believes that illiteracy is a problem in it .
As a result of that a large percentage of manpower in Red Sea cannot provide the best because of illiteracy. Experience has shown that we can achieve development by developing human resource in general and workers in particular according to a balanced political decision
Therefore, the faculty seeks to establish a literacy program in Red Sea aiming to give students basic educational skills which give them the expertise and knowledge that help them to improve the educational , mental, healthy, social, professional and political level
