About the Department

Welcome to Department of Horticulture at Faculty of Agriculture, South Valley University.

The Department is considered as one of the most important branches of agricultural production. It has three main fields: vegetables, fruits, and ornaments. It specializes in:

1. Horticulture propagation techniques.
2. Horticulture crop production technology.
3. Breeding and improving horticultural crops.
4. Physiology of horticultural crops growth.
5. Post-harvest physiology of horticultural crops.
