The Second Session of Occupational Safety and Health at South Valley University

As part of the interest of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, in training sessions and as a condition of promotion for both faculty members and their assistants and the administrative apparatus, the second session of Occupational Health and Safety was held at the university in the period from 18 to 19 May Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Kamal Nassari, Vice president of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The training session dealt with many important themes and titles in coordination with the Capacity Development Center, such as the concepts of occupational safety and health, the various risks and occupational diseases, as well as discussion of evacuation and emergency plans, and how to act during fires included a practical explanation of fire extinguishers and how to use, in addition to a review of occupational safety and health signs and many related topics.

The session was attended by Dr. Imran Ahmed Ali, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ibrahim Ismail at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and Engineer Mustafa Ramadan at the University’s Civil Defense Department.
