SVU organized a comprehensive convoy to Al-Husaynat village, Abu Tisht

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University and the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassari, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the University organized a comprehensive convoy to Al-Husaynat village, Abu Tisht, as part of the presidential initiative “Haya Karima”.

The President of the University confirmed that the convoy included a human and veterinary medical convoy and sports education in addition to the University’s Adult Education Center, and he noted that the medical convoy had examined and disbursed free treatment for a number of 654 cases and that the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction distributed awareness posters about the risks of addiction to the individual’s health and its impact on the family and society. The president added that specialists from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine examined and treated 228 different animals, in addition to 654 birds.

Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassari, Vice President, also pointed out that the convoy of physical education spread awareness of the importance of sports and shed light on how to exploit the possibilities available at the village youth center and familiarize young people with how to use leisure time in sports activities. The Vice President of the University also confirmed that the Adult Education Centre conducted an awareness seminar for citizens to familiarize them with the importance of comprehensive convoys organized by the University and to educate citizens about the dangers of illiteracy and inform them of the various free services offered them to achieve a decent life for them.
