A workshop on World University Rankings was organized under the auspices of President of the University Prof. Abbas Mansour who emphasized the importance of World University Rankings and necessity of achieving an advanced ranking, referring to the scientific research that is the first step for the advanced ranking. He also talked about the importance of the university website and necessity of updating it regularly. Besides, Prof. Mahmoud Khodary, Vice President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, called the all to do their best to achieve an advanced ranking. The workshop discussed the world standards of World University Rankings and how to achieve an advanced ranking in it, the projects that the university could participate with and the efforts by Technology Transfer Office in Patents and Innovation fields.
