A workshop on Journalism and Television was held under the auspices of President of the University Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour. It was lectured by Mr. Abdel Fattah Farag who spoke about the history of documentary photography and development of cinematography and he also discussed how to make a meaningful documentary film referring to the role of media in highlighting the real-life stories from the community. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, referred to the importance of practical training in media to increase student’s experiences through workshops organized by the faculty. Moreover ,Prof .Dr. Hala Nofal, Dean of Faculty of Mass Communication ,asserted the permanent support from the university president to all activities that serve education ,referring to the faculty objective that is graduating journalists and TV presenters who are able to take responsibility and leadership in media.
