The university hospital in Qena under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the South Valley University President, and Dr. Karam Muslim general manager of University Hospitals organized a workshop on “Gastrointestinal Endoscopies” on the sidelines of the First International Conference for the Department of Tropical Medicine and gastroenterology that will be held from August 10 to 13 this month. Dr. Ali Abdul Rahman Guell, Chairman of the Tropical Medicine and gastroenterology Department at the University Hospital of Qena, said that the workshop aims to transfer the experiences of Gastrointestinal Endoscopies professors to young doctors to create a new generation capable of providing quality medical service. He stressing that the department in the coming period is witnessing significant development as soon the Viral Hepatitis unit will be opened to treat patients.
