Workshop Discusses Financial and Administrative Procedures Manual


 

 

South Valley University, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, the university president, organized a workshop to discuss the Financial and Administrative Procedures Manual. The workshop was presented by Mr. Mohamed Nour, the General Manager of the General Administration for Information Systems and Digital Transformation, and the principal researcher for the manual’s preparation, and a number of employees from the Accounts and Budget, Funds, and Procurement departments.

Nour pointed out that the Financial and Administrative Procedures Manual was issued based on the directives of the university president to enhance the efficiency of the university’s departments, translate policies and procedures into a comprehensive system, establish a flexible framework, and provide exceptional service.

During the workshop, Nour explained the most important terms in the manual, as well as relevant decisions and laws, He also detailed the procedures for disbursing supplier payments, contractor payments, both permanent and temporary advances and their settlements.
