Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, led the university’s delegation participating in the 56th Cairo International Book Fair. The delegation included Dr. Mohamed Wael Abdel Azim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, along with a group of deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and a student delegation comprising 30 students from various university faculties.
Dr. Akkawy emphasized that the university’s participation aligns with its commitment to raising students’ awareness, developing their skills, fostering human values, and correcting misconceptions. The fair features a wide array of events, including lectures, seminars, and workshops, with broad international participation. This year’s edition hosts representatives from 80 countries, includes 600 events, and features 1,345 publishing houses and 6,150 exhibitors.
