Community Service and Environmental Affairs Sector at Faculty of Specific Education organized a symposium entitled” Towards a Healthy Heart” in the framework of the 10th Environmental Week in 2018. The human heart is an organ that pumps blood throughout the body via the circulatory system, supplying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and other wastes. Being smoke free is one of the best things you can do to protect your heart. Eating a varied diet of healthy foods can help with your weight, blood pressure and cholesterol as stated by Vice-president of Community Service and Environment Development of the faculty Prof. Karam Mosalam.
