Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, witnessed the activities of the public service camp of the Faculty of Physical Education students, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Haqq Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Muhammad Hammam, Assistant Professor, faculty members and their assistants at the faculty, and Mr. Adel Ahmed Mustafa, Secretary General of the University. 600 male and female students from the first year of the faculty participated in the camp.
The university president praised the volunteer work of students and the public service they carried out, which reflects the university students’ awareness of public service within the university, adding that the aim of these camps is for university students to participate in serving their faculties and advancing their university.
Dr. Abdel Haq Sayed said that the camp is held annually for two days and that it includes cleaning a distance of more than 3 km.
