Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, The University president received Mr. Gerard Steeghs, Dutch Ambassador in Cairo ,who visited the university hospital and inspected works of Dutch medical delegation, who conducted many of cardiac surgeries in the period of April 1-7, 2016 .
The Dutch Ambassador pointed to the medical cooperation between the Netherlands and Egypt from (3) years ago for exchanging the experiences, he also praised the university president’s vision in the future.
On the other hand, the university president stressed on the importance of this visiting to promote the Bilateral Relations and exchanging the experience in many fields, furthermore the university president and deans met the Dutch ambassador and delegation , as the president showed presentation about the university’s history , its branches , the number of faculties and undergraduate students and postgraduate , as well as research centers , student activities and services of the university hospitals , besides gifting the University shield to Dutch Ambassador. It is worth mentioning that the medical team conducted about (18) surgeries successfully in diagnostic catheterization and open heart
