Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, participates in the conference on fostering innovation for sustainable development as part of the closing of the second phase of Masar Program, which is organized by Enroot Foundation in cooperation with the Netherlands embassy, with the participation of Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, Peter Mollema, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Cairo, Dr. Essam El-Din Abdel Hady, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at South Valley University, Hany Al-Salamouni, Managing Director of the Enroot Foundation and representatives of Luxor and Aswan universities.
The university president indicated that this event comes within the framework of the activities of Masar project implemented by Enroot Foundation in cooperation with a number of Egyptian universities to promote entrepreneurship, embrace projects for students and graduates, and present success stories for a number of emerging companies. During the event, he spoke about the cooperation between South Valley University and Enroot Foundation, noting to setting up a number of training courses and establishing a business incubator to support startups and creative ideas. The university president also thanked Enroot Foundation, stressing that there are great prospects for further joint cooperation.
