President of the University Prof. Abbas Mansour attended the celebration of the Universal Children’s Day organized by Department of Mental Health at Faculty of Education in the presence of Vice- President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs Prof. Mahmoud Khodary. He stressed the importance of celebrating the child to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare to build a better world. The Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20th each year. November 20th is an important date as it is the date in 1959 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
