Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, opened the Seventh Early Career Researchers Conference for Basic Sciences, Engineering, and Computer and Information Science (ECC-SEC 2022) in the presence of Prof .Dr. Abbas Mansour, the Former SVU President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy ,Vice President for Postgraduate and Research Affairs ,Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Services and Environmental Affairs, Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahhat, Vice President for Student Affairs, Prof .Alaa Sadik, Dean of Faculty of Computers and Information, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ebnalwaleed ,Dean of Faculty of Science and Prof. Dr. Gamal Tag Abdel Gaber, Dean of Faculty of Engineering. The conference aims to prepare leading academic scientists, young researchers and scholars together to exchange information and share experiences and research results about all aspects of specialized and interdisciplinary fields. The number of participating researchers has been 62 including 28 researches from Faculty of Science and 28 researches from Faculty of Engineering. The conference chairman presented the shield to Prof. Gharbawy who called for:
-ongoing organization of such conferences, which contribute to the increase the university progress in scientific research.
-Providing different activities for students and holding various programs that meet the needs of labor market.
-Supporting the student who will choose the Departments of Mathematics and Physics by exempting them from paying the tuition fee.
