
Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy, President of Qena University, held a meeting to discuss the final preparations for launching the application for documenting the activities of the University President, within the framework of the university’s move towards supporting the digital transformation system, preserving institutional memory, and developing administrative and media documentation mechanisms in line with the requirements of modern institutional work.
The meeting was attended by Mr Ali Amer, Director General of Legal Affairs, Mr Ali Fikry, Director of the General Administration of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, Mr Amr Fathy, Director of Public Relations and Media, Mr Ahmed Naggar, Applications Follow-up Officer at the University President’s Office, and Mr Mohamed Omar, Director of University Security.
During the meeting, the University President discussed the application’s tabulation, the powers granted to users, the mechanism for entering data, and the printing of reports, ensuring ease of use, accurate documentation, and the speed of retrieving information.
Dr Ahmed Akkawi stressed the importance of the application in enriching the university’s institutional memory and providing an integrated database documenting the activities, meetings, and encounters of the university president, thereby supporting the administrative work system, enhancing transparency, and facilitating the preparation of future reports and follow-ups.
