Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, received Major General Mohamed Al-Ghubary, former Director of the National Defense College, and Dr. Mohamed Hassan, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Badawi Shehat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Moussa, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Ahmed Jamal, Training Consultant, and Mr. Ahmed Mostafa, responsible for the Central Administration of Parliament and Civic Education.
The President of the University paid tribute to “Tsado Ma’an ” Unity which is concerned with confronting rumors spread by enemies of the country at home and abroad and scientifically refuting them. He emphasized the continued cooperation between South Valley University and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in various fields and the importance of such programs for the benefit of young people.
As part of the fruitful cooperation between the University and the Ministry, SVU was selected as the headquarters for interviews of applicants in the second phase of the National Program to Counter Rumours in Qena Governorate. The program bears the slogan “Take action with us” under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports.
