Dr. Ahmed Akawi, the president of South Valley University, received Dr. Maher Jabr, the deputy minister of Endowments in Qena, along with Dr. Abdullah Haras, the director of Religious Guidance Department in Qena’s Endowments Directorate, and Sheikh Alaa Eldendrawy, the imam and preacher of a Saudi mosque, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Hashem, the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Hajaji Mansour, the executive director of university hospitals, Ms. Taroub Tulba, the assistant university secretary, Mr. Abdel Razek Hussein, the assistant university secretary, and Mr. Ali Amer, the general manager of legal affairs.
The president of the university praised the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments in Qena for promoting enlightened moderate thinking and safeguarding the minds of young people against extremism, radicalism, and misleading ideologies. He also commended the fruitful cooperation between South Valley University and the Endowments Directorate in Qena, highlighting the existence of a cooperation protocol between the university and the directorate of endowments.
