Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, conducted an inspection tour of the university’s student entrance gates in order to follow up on the plan to install electronic gates at the university’s entrances. During the tour, the university president directed the rapid completion of the installation of electronic gates in sufficient number to take into account the annual increase, within the framework of the University’s keenness to activate the digital transformation in all its sectors, as the magnetic cards are prepared for university students according to the latest technologies. He emphasized that the installation of gates is a plan to provide a safe learning environment for students and provide needs that ensure the regular functioning of the educational process. He also directed instructions to ensure the aesthetic and cultural form around these gates and to create speed bumps to ensure safety and security standards when university employees enter and exit.
The university president stressed ensuring the safety of students from the high temperature during the day and installing benches around these gates to protect them from the sun.
