The President of South Valley University attends a symposium entitled “Egypt Between Past, Present and Future Schemes and 4rth and 5th Generation Wars”.


Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, witnessed an educational symposium entitled “Egypt between Past, Present and Future Schemes and 4th and 5th Generation Wars,” which was lectured by Major General Hafez Mahmoud Hassan, National Security Expert, in the presence of Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr Ahmed Kamal Nasaray, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Development Affairs, and Dr Badwy Shahat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy said the symposium would help to raise awareness among students about the new issues related lately to the world, the surrounding dangers of the situation and correcting the confusing information aimed to turbulent the security of the Egyptian State, The President of the University appealed to the students of the University to give attention to the efforts of the State to support the educational process in all ways to provide a good educational capacity.

Prof. Dr Badawy Shahat stressed that the University President supports all student activities which contribute to building cultured and useful personalities have the spirit of belonging & loyalty to the nation to meet the challenges and dangers facing the country.

General Hafez Mahmoud Hassan explained that the war at present is no longer just a classic war with clear features, but a mixture of the available methods and tools, whether it is traditional & unconventional, where the military objective is being to explode from within as the best way to defeat the adversaries, General Hafez referred to the plans Egypt faced since the January Revolution, and the tools used to falsify the consciousness of citizens and lead them to undermine the internal security of their country.

The President of the University presented the University Shield symbol to Major General Hafez Mahmoud Hassan in appreciation of his efforts. the symposium has witnessed by the Deans of the university’s faculties, a group of faculty members and a large student crowd
