In the context of the foreign tours of President of the University Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour to promote the international cooperation with European universities in modern science as Nanotechnology, he headed the delegation consisted of President of Fayoum University Prof. Dr. Khaled Hamza and coordinators of Excellence in Nanotechnology Project at SVU and Fayoum University Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek and Dr. Ahmed Saad. The tour involved visiting Rovira i Virgili University in Spain and lund university in sweden to develop joint research projects in Nanotechnology field and Researchers Exchange, holding workshops on using nanomaterials in manufacturing highly efficient solar cell and visiting the latest laser application labs at Lund University. Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour asserted the importance of that visit as it was an opportunity to learn about the latest methods of education, scientific research and Knowledge transfer to Egyptian universities.
