A symposium entitled “Egypt and the world … The New in Economy, Investment, Politics and Media” was organized by Faculty of Mass Communication at SVU in the presence of Ahmed Almoslemani. Prof. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, asserted the importance of media in raising awareness of various issues and the necessity of organizing the different symposiums in the presence of experts and thinkers to raise the professional level of students and qualify them to the labor to convey the correct picture of the home .Besides, Ahmed Almoslemani talked about the importance of studying the regional and international situation, asserting the necessity of cooperation with the Arab world , achieving stability in neighboring countries and confronting the regional challenges . The media must be impartial in dealing with various issues as stated by Vice-president for Student affairs Prof. Mohamed Abulfadl Badran.
