Prof. Dr Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities on Monday in the new administrative capital in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Latif, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and its members.
The council approved the following:
-The time map of the new academic year 2022/2023.
-The start of the new year in universities and institutes will be on Oct.1,2022.
-The start of the first semester exams will be on Jan.9,2022.
-The start of the mid-year vacation will be on Jan.28,2022.
-The start of the second semester will be on Feb.11,2022.
Additionally, the council stressed the following:
-The faculties readiness to conduct the aptitude tests for secondary school students.
-The readiness of the universities computer labs to receive the students during the period of coordination (Tansik).
-The coordination process (Tansik) will start after announcing the secondary school results.
-The readiness of the main coordination office at Ain Shams University to start its work.
