The Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities was organized for the first time at the university by Faculty of Physical Education in cooperation with Directorate of Youth and Sports. It coincided with International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec.3 to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. President of the University emphasized the Statement by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi that was “The year 2018 is a year for people of special needs”. He also thanked the management of Faculty Physical Education for its role in organizing the meetings and festivals that bring joy and pleasure in the heart of persons with disabilities and decrease the gap with them.
