Within the framework of the University role in localizing the goals of sustainable development and enhancing opportunities of joint cooperation with government and civil society institutions, the first conference on activating the sustainable development goals was held at the university.In the presence of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, Former President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development Sector,Dr. Dalila Mokhtar, President of the National Youth Council and General Coordinator of the conference , Dr. Wael Al-Tanahi, Secretary General of the National Youth Council , Dr. Rehab Youssuf, Representative of Ministry of Environment at the conference and Prof. Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs Sector who welcomed the conference attendees, referring to:
Besides, Prof. Nassary, called all students to benefit from the activities of the conference which has been held by the National Youth Council in cooperation with the university. The conference aims to shed light on the important and vital issues in the sectors of health, education and environment, as well as holding a national dialogue in which the university students participate and sending its recommendations to the National Training Academy in light of the recommendations of President of the Republic Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the need to involve all the society segments in the national dialogue, especially youth and university students.
