The Faculty of Physical Education at South Valley University holds a cultural Symposium on the Combating of Drug Addiction.


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University and the supervision of Prof. Dr Ahmed Kamal Nassar, Vice- President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a cultural symposium was held at the Faculty of Physical Education on the Combating and Treatment of Drug Addiction, in cooperation with the Anti-Addiction Fund, under the supervision of Prof. Dr Ashraf Moussa, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr Abdel Haq Sayed, Vice- Dean of the Faculty For Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the symposium, in which Sheikh Ahmed Abu Al-Wafa, Director of El- Da’wa Administration of Awqaf Organization in Qena, and Professor Mahmoud Yassin from the Anti-Addiction Fund in Qena, addressed the negative effects of drug addiction on the individual and society and the importance of awareness of the harms it caused, and how the heavenly religions forbade the drug abuse that harm the individual and the family.
