Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akkaoui, President of South Valley University, and Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdullah, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Medicine, in collaboration with the Administrative Control Authority, organized a seminar on “Egypt’s Efforts in Combating Corruption”.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Karima Kamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology for Postgraduate Studies and Research. It is part of a series of seminars organized by the university to raise awareness about corruption.
The discussion covered the definition of corruption, its types, causes of its spread, national strategies for combating corruption in Egypt, and the state’s efforts to foster an environment of integrity and transparency.
The event was attended by faculty members, their assistants, and administrative staff from the Faculty of Medicine.
